The Winona Clown Club originated on April 1, 1975, and has been actively entertaining people of all ages. The club presently has members from Winona and the surrounding areas. The Winona Clown Club participates in many parades in and around the Winona area. Club members also entertain at company picnics, special parties, fundraisers and enjoy visiting local hospitals and nursing homes.
The Winona Clown Club meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall, 961 West 5th Street, Winona, Minnesota. You are welcome to attend any meeting. Our business meetings include discussion on past appearances, upcoming events, and needs of club members, such as costume, make-up, and supplies. After the business meeting we have demonstrations on make-up application and techniques, animal balloon figure creations, juggling, etc. There is no obligation to join when attending a meeting.
Clowns are everyday people---young, old, homemakers, professionals, male, female---with one interest in common---they like to have fun and make others smile and be happy.
The membership fee for the Winona Clown Club is $12.00 per year. With the membership fee, each clown is provided with the basic make-up colors, ideas for a face and costume, and plenty of opportunities to have lots of fun.

The Winona Clown Club has designated the Smile Train Organization as their Charity and
a percentage of each year’s income will be donated to the Organization. We were able to send them a check for 9 surgeries..
